The website uses browser features for specific functions. A cookie, local-storage value, cached file and push subscription are different mechanisms. This page describes the implemented controls; optional features run only when enabled by the operator and supported by the browser.
Administrator session cookie
The restricted admin area sets the ry_admin session cookie for signed-in website administrators. It is scoped to the admin area and protects access to management pages. Reading public game guides does not create a player account or use this cookie to log in to a listed game.
Analytics preference
When configured analytics requires consent, the ordinary website stores an allow/decline choice as ry-analytics in local browser storage. The preference helps avoid asking on every page. It has no automatic expiry in the current implementation; clearing this site's browser data removes it. Optional Story analytics or ads may use AMP's separate consent interface.
Floating Telegram button
Dismissing the floating Telegram button sets ry_telegram_dismissed in session storage to hide the widget for the current browser tab. This preference does not track you across websites or send a dismissal event to the server.
Install prompt and offline cache
If the installable-guide feature is enabled, ry-install-dismissed stores the time of an install-prompt choice so the prompt can be delayed for the configured interval. The service worker caches an offline fallback and the website logo. Installing the guide does not install a listed game's APK.
Push notifications
If guide notifications are enabled, permission is requested after an explicit opt-in button action. Your browser creates a subscription that the server uses for delivery. You can block notifications through browser site settings. Clearing site data or uninstalling the guide can also affect its local preferences and cache.
Third-party services
Configured analytics, advertising, AMP components and external destinations can make their own requests and may use their own storage. This page does not claim that all integrations are active or that every third-party cookie can be controlled by the site's simple analytics preference. See the privacy notice for what the application records and the limitations of its controls.
Your browser choices
Use your browser's site settings to inspect or clear cookies, local storage and cached files, revoke notification permission or remove an installed guide. Clearing necessary administrator data signs you out of the admin area. Clearing an analytics preference can cause the choice to be shown again when that integration is enabled.
